PRIVATE ACTING COACHING ENQUIRY
Though my focus these days leans toward healing—both personal and collective—don’t think for one second I could hang up my coaching hat!
After all the years of exploration, the skills I’ve honed are too meaningful (and fun) to shelve entirely. Coaching actors still lights me up, and I’m grateful to get to collaborate with so many talented artists.
With over 20 years of coaching experience in film and TV—and as one of the few certified teachers of the Streamlining Line Learning Technique, it delights me to be able to help actors feel confident, prepared, and creatively alive in their work.
I believe great acting comes from honesty, bold choices, and play. That means our work together might involve curiosity, laughter, risk-taking, and yes, a little bit of discomfort (the good kind). But don’t worry—I’ve got room for the brave and the tender. I’m here to nudge when needed, cheer wildly when it clicks, and hold a safe space for you to stretch without snapping.
Audition prep doesn’t have to feel like a grind. With the right support, it can actually be fun.
If you’re ready to explore, expand, and maybe surprise yourself, fill out the form below and let’s get started.
“Erica Carroll is an incredibly intuitive and gifted teacher, and after training with her, she will most likely become your mentor too. Erica’s sense of play mixed with her extreme dedication to the craft make her the perfect teacher for any woman wanting to take their work to the next level in an environment of kindness. Her room is a safe, curious and above all, a decidedly fun place to grow your imagination and confidence. I couldn’t recommend her coaching more.”
Ali Liebert - Family Law / Van Helsing
“I believe that Erica’s creativity and curiosity are what make her different from anyone I’ve ever worked with. Working with her allowed me to find myself as an artist which in turn helped me find creative freedom as an actress. The tools she gave me are specifically for me, and that’s what she does with her students. She finds your strengths and builds you up. All that is required of you is to have an open mind and a willingness to push your boundaries as an artist. It’s an understatement to say I recommend Erica. She will change how you look at material forever and she will bring joy to the process.”
Priscilla Faia - Rookie Blue/ You Me Her
“Actors must invest a great deal of trust in their teachers to freely explore, create, and embody a character with as much truth and humility as possible. This often necessitates a safe learning environment, and a skilled coach to guide the actor beyond their comfort zones to access new discoveries in their process. Erica’s boundless wisdom, sense of play, and love for the craft, enables her students to do just that. I owe a great deal of my success to this talented teacher, artist, and mentor. Her insight into what we do as acting students, and acting professionals, has been invaluable to my growth as an actor, and I recommend taking every opportunity one can to work with her.”
